Framing is our main trade, and the rest of our work grew from it. We frame new houses, additions and renovations, and handle structural changes to existing homes. Framing that is square, plumb and level lets the drywall, tile and trim that follow go on cleanly.

We take bathrooms and basements from the bare room to the finished space, doing the demolition, framing, insulation, drywall, tile and trim ourselves. Plumbing and electrical go to the regular trades we work with, and we schedule them as part of the job. You deal with one contractor from start to finish.

Floors, trim, interior doors and custom built-ins.

We install hardwood, laminate, vinyl and tile floors, then finish the room with baseboard, casing, interior doors and trim. We also build custom built-ins to suit the space. This is the work you look at every day, so we take the time to get the joints tight and the lines straight.

We build decks, fences, gates and other outdoor structures, from the footings up to the railings. Footings, framing and fasteners are chosen to handle Prince Edward County winters. We can build something new or replace a deck or fence that has worn out.

Window and door installation, plus repairs and property upkeep.

We install windows and doors and take care of the repairs and upkeep a home needs over time. Small jobs are welcome, and we quote them just like larger projects. If you have a list of things that need fixing, we can look at them together and plan the work.

Drywall, taping and finishing

New drywall and repairs, hung, taped and finished for paint.

We hang, tape and finish drywall for new rooms, renovations and basements, and repair damaged walls and ceilings. Each wall is sanded smooth and left ready for paint. If you would like it painted as well, we can take care of that as part of the same job.

Custom tiling

Tile for floors, showers and kitchen backsplashes.

We tile floors, showers and kitchen backsplashes, and we prepare the surface underneath before any tile goes down. In a shower, that includes waterproofing behind the tile. Careful preparation is what keeps a tiled floor or shower sound for the long term.

New houses built from the ground up, footings to finish.

Full home builds are where our work began, and we still take on new houses from the ground up. We handle the framing and finish work ourselves and coordinate the plumbing, HVAC, electrical and excavation trades. You have one contractor responsible for the house from the first stage to the last.

Interior and exterior painting

Interior and exterior painting, with careful preparation first.

We paint interior walls, ceilings and trim, as well as exterior siding, soffit and fascia. Before the first coat, we fill, sand and prime so the finish goes on evenly and lasts. After drywall work, we can carry the room right through to paint.

Siding, insulation and exterior work

Siding, insulation and general repairs to the outside of your home.

We install siding, soffit and fascia, insulate walls and attics, and take on general exterior repairs. When old siding comes off, it is a good time to check the insulation and sheathing behind it, and we can take care of both in the same job.

Above-ground pools

Above-ground pool installation, new or used, with site preparation.

We install new and used above-ground pools, and handle the excavation and levelling that come first. A pool needs a firm, level base to sit properly, so we prepare the ground before the pool goes in. If you are planning a deck or fence around it, we can build those too.
